Thanks... I'm still here from time to time. Not nearly as much since the Chronicles is finished, though

I loved Suburgatory too :)

The whole "Evil Corp" thing is another thing that leads me to what I posted in my spoiler. Is everyone really calling it that? Or is that just what he hears when someone says "E Corp"?

I too am really loving this show. I hadn't even heard about it until the day it premiered, and I happened to see it listed in the channel guide. Glad I didn't miss it. Something I've seen theorized around here and there... and I am leaning towards believing it: Mr. Robot doesn't really exist. We hav...

I can see it now... TC takes a drink and it burns his throat so much he exclaims "Hellfire!"

I missed this thread (only check in here every couple of weeks now that the TLD has come and gone). I saw this tour in Tulsa opening night. Absolutely best time I've ever had at a Rush show, going in with no idea what was going to be played, and then being blown away by that second set. Watching the...

Only two weeks from the start of the tour... I hope they play Working Man, but not in the reggae/polka versions they have the last several tours. I want the original Working Man! I would also love to see BU2B again - that song is killer live As for the rest, I don't care, as long as it's 3 hours of ...

They put on a great show!

I have tickets for the opener in Tulsa. First time seeing the first night of a tour - should be a blast :)

It's good to see Banks have a chance to stretch his legs a bit as an actor.
I was blown away by that episode. Banks should definitely get an Emmy for that. What a powerful story.

I am really enjoying Rocksmith. In fact, I would love to see a similar program for keyboards. I know, you can buy a keyboard and make yourself practice... but the same thing can be said about a guitar and my guitar has gotten more use since I got Rocksmith than all the years before when it sat in th...

Yeah, "Last Man" is to be taken literally :)

I love this show so far. But like others said, I can't see it going very long. What a position to be in... have to repopulate the earth and have January Jones or Kristen Schaal to choose from LOL

They are promoting the heck out of it. I've seen promos for it on SyFy, Comedy Central and several other channels this past few days. I hate myself for even being interested in it... but I am curious if this is any good at all.

Who wants to take a bullet, watch this, and report back? :)

I'm liking it. There's enough stuff tying it to BB in sly ways, but it's a good story on its own as well.

It's so great seeing Mike as a parking booth attendant... just knowing how much he must hate it and just waiting for the day when he can shed that job and become "Mike" :)

I was considering that as well... as soon as I finish the Dresden Files series I'm reading through.

It's been too long since I read the Gap

I did the same thing back when TLD came out. I started from LFB about 5-6 months before TLD's release and by the time it came out, I was about halfway through FR.

The entire chronicles taken together is a heck of a story. I'm ambivalent about the way TLD ended, but the overall story is quite good.

That said, Guardians of the Galaxy looks really silly to me. Is it tied to The Avengers story-arc in any way? I'll see it if so, but will otherwise skip it. As for the movie universe, I have no idea. In the comics universe, I believe they have had connections with both X-Men and Avengers storylines...

As I understand it, the movie rights for the Avengers and X-Men universes are owned by two different companies. So you have two Marvel franchises seemingly existing in two separate universes. Compound this with the fact that Quicksilver will be in this new X-Men movie and also (possibly) in the next...

I saw it and liked it as well.

The first 45 mins or so are kinda drag-gy, but once the big fight starts, it's great from there on.

My favorite part:
Spoiler
Godzilla prying open the Muto's mouth and breathing fire directly down her throat. Awesome!

I kind of understand the reason for doing the covers album. They were doing tours back-to-back and had no time to get into the studio and write an album, but they wanted to do something for their 30th anniversary. I'm not a big fan of cover albums in general, but there were about 4 songs on this one...
