I'm the opposite. I pick up anything by SRD and I can't put it down until I've finished it. I read so damn fast I was through LOTR in a few weeks (had all 3 books in one volume). Hey, I read the Hobbit at school...

I don't care what anyone else thinks. I have loved every book by SRD that I have read so far, Runes included. Who knows, maybe he is just teasing us so he can blow us away with FR. Personally I don't believe for a moment that SRD would make people wait two DECADES for the next book in the series and...

Nah, he died in the real world. Like Covenant died in the real world in TWL, then he "died" again at the end of WGW.

Can they be found on the UK Amazon website? I do imagine that a British edition would be out of print... perhaps you can find American editions there. :?: *shrugs* Amazon UK has all 5 available to order, but some are 3-5 weeks whereas others are only a day or 2. I have seen all 5 on sale together i...

What, are you all mentalists? dictionary.reference.com/search?q=mentalist Whatever you might think about the series, I have read all 5 books. I was hooked from the first one and I have to say it is the best sci-fi I have ever read. Even Peter F. Hamilton's Night's Dawn Trilogy, or Iain M. Banks' Cu...

Thinking about it some more, did anyone wish he'd brought some proper weapons when he was summoned? Something along the lines of a tank platoon, a few Apache gunships and A-10's for air support, some entrenched artillery positions... Such a large army, tightly packed together would be a ripe target ...

Well Mt. Thunder is pretty obviously volcanic, and there's a river of lava around Foul's Creche (Hotash Slay). How about commanding a massive eruption to cleanse the whole lot by fire? That'd clear out those pesky Cavewights and probably burn out a few of the cobwebs in Ridjeck Thome too...

I don't think this TC is from another time. There are, to my mind, 2 possible explanations. 1) This is the real TC resurrected somehow, which given the number of laws (time, life, death) that have been broken, wouldn't surprise me. 2) This is some kind of trick of Foul's, or it's an Elohim (remember...
