Yep - loved all his movies. Unbreakable is probably the second best superhero movie next to Spidey2.

I've managed to stay spoiler free on this as his movies need to be seen with no foreknowledge.

One, Murrin, it's interesting that you consider the flashback in Wizard and Glass the best writing, because I've heard many other readers say just the opposite. That this flashback is unnecessary and drastically slows down the story. I love it myself, but I don't think it's superior to the later Ro...

Callahan is tough, but he is no Gunslinger.
Yes. This time he will die. The important thing his soul will be redeemed.

Best of the prequels? Perhaps.

I only watch the original. Cop shows aren't my forte to begin with. One a week is good enough for me.

Sixth Sense rips off Jacob's Ladder? How?

That's like saying Jacob's Ladder rips off - An Occurrence At Owl Creek.

Unbreakable is an excellent movie BTW.

I'd like to see them pare the cast down considerably and concentrate on one or two characters in each movie. There's not enough screen time to go around. X2 did a masterful job of giving everyone a fair slice of the pie but how often can you come up with an interesting story and service all the char...

Please only villian per movie! Look at the mess the Batman series became because of that trend.

If more than 1 villain has to be used, restrict 1 to an opening montage much like the Bond flicks. Then move on to the main villian.

A couple of more:

1) Galileo 7 - Spock's admission of being stubborn at the end of the episode

2) The Changeling - Spock's blunt surprise to Kirk's show of logic in defeating Nomad.
Kirk, ' Didn't think I had it in me, did you Spock?'
Spock, 'No sir.'

W&G dwells too long on Roland's earlier days without providing much info pertinent to the current quest. I find the current group of quest characters far more interesting than the previous one. Personal perference. I like the Callahan back story much more. Always felt sorry for the guy since Sal...

Drawing of the Three, WasteLands, and Wolves of the Callah are pretty even for me. Song of Susannah is a notch lower and Wizard and Glass at the bottom.

Gunslinger is off in it's own corner. It's so mythic and can stand on it's own unlike the other books.
