What now from SRD????

Me too--but I may have liked Augur's Gambit a little bit more. Not sure. Hmmm...maybe I should go reread them both so I can decide... :D

What now from SRD????

So I'm sure everyone has seen this already, since it was posted in February--been looking for a thread here about it and haven't seen one. ( My searching skills aren't the greatest.) But, how about this ! From the News section of Donaldson's website: After two difficult, unproductive years...

What has your inherited locution provided you?

Sometimes it helps with Wordle--I play the New York Times version. They also have another game called Spelling Bee that will occasionally accept what I think of as "Donaldson words." :) When I'm actively reading the Chronicles, I do have to be careful not to slip into a Landish or Giantish...

High Lord Elena

For my first act of thread necrophilia: I will always wonder how the hell Covenant never made the connection between her and Lena in the first place. Their names are virtually the same after all What gets me is when they first meet, he notices that her eyes are “gray like his own.” And the descripti...

Lord Foul and the Ravers rock on

Good lineup, but I think Foul would sing lead.

The Absence of The Creator in The Last Chrons

My take on the Creator issue, in general and also concerning his absence in Last Chronicles: It all hinges on the idea that the Creator cannot act directly in the Land. Also, bear in mind the two explanations Covenant offers Linden at the beginning of Wounded Land, when she's trying to get her head ...

Welcome Visitors & New Members !! - Say Hello in HERE :)

Hello! The Chronicles (first six books) have meant a lot to me over the years since I first read them. Started Last Chronicles when the first book came out, decided to wait until they were all available, didn't think I could survive another cliffhanger like that! Then wandered and only came back a c...
