I dont see the curruption of once 'normal folk' rather a forced geneticly engenered use of base flesh by use of the IES to duplicate clone and grow deformed lifeforms that are fouls army The Chrons are a lot less detailed about the Land, or issues such as the origin of Foul's army, than LoTR. The S...

I just watched it a few days ago. Mixed thoughts about it... Kingsley is great, of course, but I feel like I missed the point of the movie. Seems like it was more about Don being a complete asshole than anything else. As such, the beginning (before Don shows up) and the end (after Don gets killed at...

I don't see the problem; watch stuff like that on TV all the time. As long as it's past the watershed, its fine to show that stuff. Anyhow, watched it and Natural Born Killers is good, but it would be better without a lot of the unusual stylistic stuff, I think. What I should have said: If they wer...

I have a mixed opinion about DeNiro in The Untouchables. I felt he really hammed it up as Capone (it looked like he was doing a parody), but I thought Connery and Costner were both very good. I haven't seen this movie in years, so my memory could be distorted. And hey, dlb and iQ, those are fine qu...

Natural Born Killers is on the TV. I've only seen part of it before. I might just drag myself away from the computer to watch... Don't know how British TV handles this stuff, but I can't imagine watching NBK on TV over here (US), assuming they would even broadcast it in the first place. ;) I'd just...

What's odd about Cook for me is that I think his early work is actually stronger than his latter work. The Instrumentalities of the Night series is decent and entertaining, but it also is extemely flawed in places and could use tighter editing and re-writing. Same goes for the Black Compnay books. ...
Yah, Val does a great job, but I really think Kurt Russell is underrated in this film. He does a great job, but is often overlooked because his character is more introverted, and Doc's is more extrovert. Russell does a great job! And Encryptic, if you liked the Fist full of Dollars/Few Dollars More...
Funny you should mention Westerns... I can't ever remember watching a Western before (and I've seen God knows how many movies in my life), but I just watched Sergio Leone's Dollars trilogy over the course of last week. Fantastic movies all around. I also watched Tombstone on Saturday and I have to a...
