Speaking of Planescape torment, and baldurs gate II, did anyone here play the old Dark Sun games? They ran pretty decent on a 486 66 mhz machine, and they were just great, definately a strong influence on later D&D games. Anyone see them? I played nearly ever one of the SSR D&D games. I mis...

Fable, I've been playing Fable. I can see how some people could get bored with this game. It plays like Ocarina of Time, but with RPG elements. I wouldn't call it a full blown RPG as you have no control over what gender or skin color you have. The story is simple and disposable, but the game play is...

Chuck Berry was a greater influence on teh Beatles than Presley was. If I was pressed to say who started Rock, I would say Berry did. The Beatles perfected it and are teh greatest rock band in my opinion. There isn't one good band out there that wasn't influenced by the Beatles.

I've read Glory Road and Starship Troopers. I've wanted to read more, but Martin reared his head, then King with the Dark Tower. Now I'm going to have to wait until after I read Runes of the Earth.

I really like Tyrion, and don't consider him a "villian". He's been crapped on nearly as much as the Starks. I can't wait until Cersi reaps what she's sown. She's gonna fall hard. I truly dislike her. Jaime's current predicament has given me a new found respect for him. Plus knowing what h...

Maybe my diseased mind can handle all of the subplots or maybe I started reading the books at an impressionable age. The Wheel of Time is one of my Favorite stories. I started reading them right about the time the Shadow Rising was published. WOT is still interesting to me. I'm looking forward for t...

I finished the Dark Tower yesterday. I've been digesting the book all day. Without spoiling anything, King is correct in saying the ending is the ONLY ending. Ka is a wheel. I only started reading the series mid-summer. I had never read any Stephen King prior. I read the Stand and Eyes of the Dragon...
