What Do You Think Today?

Cigarettes have been illegal to buy for anyone under a certain age for decades here in the US, along with alcohol and porn. I suspect it keeps some people from doing certain things but it certainly doesn't stop everyone. Of course the internet made porn readily available for anyone that knows how to...

Thanks all. I'm trying to navigate things I missed without spoling further books. I know that's a bitch when you have read them all.

I had to break off gaming. Too addictive for me. I have no telling how many RT hours in Everquest, everquest 2, and WoW. I can't go back... I might never get back.

Star Trek: Discovery

Sadly this is the end for Discovery. Thats a shame cause too many purists wouldn't get behind anything they consider not Canon. I think it was just finding its legs so to speak.

All caught up through episode 3. Loving it so far.... I had already figured out that getting past the creatures was a test... I just hadn't figured out what the test was.. at least until they saw the Doctor again...

The Moment of Death.

I'm good with current definitions. Once I am at the point, they are certainly welcome to any and all my organs that could save another individual. If I have a few neurons busting about up there but I am not conscious and will never be conscious, then go for it.

A full book + ahead of me. I doubt I will catch up. My reading time is not always as open as it was the last few weeks. But I am super excited to start this one, and if the book gets me drawn in, well sometimes my wife gives me the look of "You gonna read 24X7"?

Man.. it all came together so fast... Assassins going at each other, mages going at each other, Gods going at each other. Just mad...

Hard to believe just how much is going on just 60% into the first book... people/things that live hundreds of thousands of years, prophesies, Elder Gods, Mages, souls passing from one body to the next/ or puppet as you will, possession, wars, campaigns, powerful beings utilizing others as pawns....p...

So the plot lines are making more sense and starting to coalesce. Its been a busy 100 pages Tattersail ends up in a dinner with the Adjunct Lorn (who magic does not affect), Toc the younger, and High Mage Tayschrenn. She does not let it slip thta Paran is still alive and in her quarters. Toc knows h...

About halfway through.... plots and sub plots. Spy vs spy. A coin that was picked up (that is why they were after that thief), the councilman on the balcony that was killed with the poisoned arrow was to make sure a vote went a specific way. A hound attacks and almost kills Tattersail (it was after ...

What are you listening to?

Its a boxed set that was originally only on CD but was reissued on vinyl about 4 years ago I think. Its stupidly expensive in the UK but you can get it from Amazon for about $77 USD 'PULSE', originally released in 1995, was compiled by James Guthrie, using various performances from the band's 1994 D...

Or they'll get knocked out of your head by the 500 new things on the next page. You aren't kidding... so we moved from the Bridgeburners plot to something different. There is a thief that broke in and stole some high end jewelry but then he got targeted by two assassins (the claw?) . Somehow he liv...

Oops. Good thing he's a few books away. LOL, to be fair, the only real reason is because of implied spoilers for RG, so it can go before, but it has to be read before Toll the Hounds. --A Thanks ! That is super helpful. So chapters 3 and 4 are finished. More history and more world building. Interes...
