Thanks to everyone who joined and especially to Linna :) It was really incredible to see and talk to people I knew for many years, but in writing only :D By the way, I know this one was more like unofficial, but for the actual E-fest it will be really good to set up video recording as discussed upth...
About the Russian vaccine - all those saying about gut feelings and trials during actual use were perfectly right, and there's already proof even - the Russian research institute Gamaleya developing the vaccine openly admitted that its clinical trials were not completed. They only recently launched ...

Excellent solution :) Those already eager can join, and those not prepared might be ready later - I just barely caught this info, could easily miss it if not for the Gap dissections. Also two time slots already means more people are likely to join at least one :) So I understand the links aren't sen...

Awesome idea, thank you! Unless something drastic happens, I should be able to be there :D By the way, didn't get an email about this, good that I occasionally show up here :) Perhaps are there some other ways to contact people? For example, I get emails for private messages, but apparently didn't g...

Well, I'm seriously busy outside the Watch, though I try to show up at least from time to time...
Wishing you to get better soon!

Re: Backup forum
I set this up: kevinswatch.fr.yuku.com/ as a KW has gone wonky board but if we have another outlet, let me know :) Looks like this doesn't work anymore, gives an error: "Oops, no Groups found under the name 'kevinswatchfr'." Recently I saw a post in the KW Facebook group by Menolly that K...

First of all, thank you so, so much for bringing up this topic! At first had trouble coming up with any much, but then thought of... well, a lot. And then also went to look up some artists I knew, and found some more awesome new music... some of it feels absolutely fantastic! :D:D:D Well, not sure i...

In case someone has a need for some of those eccentric means after a diacritics remover, I tend to gradually copypaste pieces of the text to trace a place with the problematic character, then remove/replace manually. Not sure if it's most efficient, but at least tends to be faster than retyping ever...

And many more thanks to Cord Hurn, who did most, that is, practically all of the work :D  :yourock: And if the dissections of A Dark And Hungry God are going to happen (hmm... sounds more visceral than FK dissections) - unless something drastic happens, I intend to take a chapter, or maybe a f...

I suspect I'm seriously late here, was not often here on KW for a while, and found this game quite recently too, but in case you're getting thread notifications, or someone else might be interested - there's Star Trek Timelines by Disruptor Beam. It's for various platforms, including PC (through Ste...

Forbidden Knowledge 22 - Ancillary Documentation - Gap Drive
Progress in science is often a matter of discovering what works first and discovering why it works afterward. Dr. Juanita Estevez of SpaceLab Station developed a functioning gap drive five years before she had any idea what it was. There are indeed serious precedents, like the discovery of penicill...
