I thought there was a thread on this show, as well. Yes, it is definitely a wild ride. The only advice I have for watching it is "don't try to take it seriously".

Season 3 should be coming out soon--Dorothy has to deal with the Candlemaker (or whatever its name is).

I've never understood the Harley Quin appeal so all of her scenes made me browse my phone because I lost interest. A key target demographic for movies, especially superhero/comic-book-related movies is still "heterosexual males ages 18 - 30", so Margot Robbie satisfies that demographic on...

Okay, I watched it. Meh. Idris Elba plays Bloodsport, a black man who is highly deadly with all forms of weapons and who has a youngish daughter with whom he has family issues and who totally isn't Will Smith's interpretation of Deadshot--no, there are no similarities between the two characters in ...

I'm disappointed with this series. I'm also disappointed with Kang being the new Big Bad. Charisma of the actor aside, I don't see how he'll ever come up to the potential that we had with Thanos. Galactus or similar would be much better. A highly intelligent person with access to advanced technolog...

Re: Hello

❧ BTW, can we assume yer plannin' to do the "blue-ink thing" in relation to Hashi's "green-ink thing"? She did not know about my green text, which is something I have done for 20 years. She did that on her own. Not sure who that avatar is--she watches a lot of anime with which I...

Liebeschoen cannot log on and trying to change her password says that the e-mail address is incorrect even though I double-checked the spelling on everything. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Also, PMs are staying in the outbox. ???

I worked 1.5 jobs, never missed a day of work, and am in better physical shape than I have been in probably 20 years--back when I had to leave Uechi Ryu (the best style karate, if you ever want to study one).

If I recall, infants can differentiate their mother's voice after only a few hours, but it takes a couple of weeks to begin differentiating faces.

They don't say his name but, yes, it's Kang. The MCUTV shows are good for plot/character development but their primary purpose is to set up Phase 4 movies. So....are the Ancient One's views on the Infinity Stones wrong, or simply limited? Wouldn't a Stone from one timeline work normally in an alter...

It has everything to do with the painted faces, which often come complete with "anatomically inaccurate" exaggerations of some features--the eyes are too big, the nose is too big, the smile is too big, etc. Painted clown faces are not "normal" and so they scare very young childr...

Exactly. The Baghdad Battery proves that they could had had rudimentary electricity in small or simple circuits, but they might not necessarily have known what to do with it other than "medical applications". They certainly did not have any sort of large generation capability. The Aeliopi...

how, exactly, does one get a 50-ton piece of stone up a mountain? Muscle - lot's of muscle! ;) Telekinesis, or possibly magic. Alternatively, there could be some chemical process by which one forms a clay body so that when heat is applied to it is sets into stone....but we probably would have redis...

We were coming out of Africa about 55,000 years ago, as a relatively small population, maybe as few as 5,000-10,000 individuals during the "genetic bottleneck." The genetic bottleneck which led to modern humans happened about 70,000 years ago when the supervolcano Toba erupted. The date i...

Whoops--I forgot to revist this question. It will be eaiser to calculate the probability that your partner does not have any of those cards, then just 1-p it. You have the jack and 12 other cards, so we can reduce the deck to 39; the other 12 cards in your hand are irrelevant. Having either the que...

Now that it has been confirmed that the original plan was to have Strange show up in WandaVision some of its weirder elements make sense. All those commercials? That was Strange trying to reach Wanda. At least I was correct in my assessment: there was no way to manipulate reality on that scale and ...

With that said, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is boring. I've given up on it. The action scenes are good, but I think I only made it to the third or fourth episode. That's just when it starts getting good. They had to get through all the "what do I do with my life now?" stuff first.

Sometimes, I would rather have "no movie" than "good god, there are so many plot holes and contrivances that I can't watch this".

The finale left me pretty cold toward it I am curious about this--how so? Out of all the Avengers, Wanda's is possibly the most grievous end because not only did she lose everyone she had to lose them twice, the second time by concious choice. Sure, Stark and Natasha died but their grief is now ove...
