Definitely like GRR Martin though ..

Well I saw Episode 2 today and loved it!! It was fantastic .. brilliant ... engaging .. and way cool .. the guy who wrote about it as being boring needs his head examined .. It was fab .. and so cool they did indeed maintain the feel of the series .. and as a prequel it really shouldnt exceed the or...

If the Land remained permanently destroyed with no hope of future .. oh ... no its much too horrible to contemplate!! The only solace I found in the end of WGW was the fact that TC would go on as a scepter (sp?) .. continue to exist .. not 'end' .. no finality...

A young person can read and enjoy Tolkien and happily miss all the deep bits but would most likely find Donaldson too difficult and disturbing. brilliantly perceptive point .. I havent thought of the comparison between these 2 unique au...

Re: attar .. Donaldson uses a lot of medical terminology .. I guess it is because of his dad being a doctor and all .. I havent made the effort to search for 'attar' in a dictionary as I am familiar with its meaning .. but I am sure you would find it in a medical dictionary .. Not that I can recall ...
