Well, Now I'm getting an Invalid User Id from Darth's recruitment centre too. However, not being one to squander a generous impulse, Caer got a man from me instead.
Darth, if you can sort this out, you can have one too.

What happens when the root cause of most terrorism is the belief that there is one true religion and all others must either convert, live as second class citizens, or die. I'm not sure I agree that the objective of terrorism is to convert people to Islam. If it is, what are the Italian Red Brigades...

This is actually just an extract from something else that I wrote, so everything may not be exactly germaine, but nonetheless: “A War on Terror.” This is one of the stupidest ideas that I’ve heard in a long time. Where does terror live? It’s not a country that can be conveniently bombed, or sanction...

Afternoon folks. I haven't read this whole thread, as my laziness is strong today, not to mention that I'm pressed for time, but I think that Mhoram had a fine grasp of the concept that all knowledge is morally neutral. (Yes, I know, I've already said that in another thread about something completle...

I hear you. Lost a couple of months worth on another forum, and it neary killed it. We rebounded though, and made it better than ever. Just goes to show how ephemeral all these things really are. We have to take the bad (i.e. the chance of losing it) with the good (i.e. being able to be here at all)...

There were some good topics in the Think Tank... Legalization of marijuana... Yeah, I definitely vote for this one to be re-instated, not least because I put a wonderful (IMO) post in on friday, and when I came in today, it was gone! Thankfully, I remember what I said, (contrary to popular expectat...

I never even watched the miniseries past the first episode. Although I have the Lynch movie, it still never did it for me the way the book did. The book was true epic Sci-Fi with all the qualities I love in epics, rich history, strong sub-themes etc. A movie that could capture all that would probabl...

Damn, that was quick Cj :) Well, I fully respect their anonymity, but courtesy should demand at least grateful, repectful and private thanks. A PM would be fine, both for informing and thanking, but I'm sure not gonna moan about it, or insist if they feel uncomfortable. Just wanted to say it is noti...

Howzit folks. Hope I've put this in the right place, but trust a Mod will move it if not. Now don't get me wrong, I'm definitley not complaining, but it seems that some people are kindly donating cash to me. (Got a nice new Title now!) As they have seen fit to remain anonymous, I would like to thank...

Howzit Johnny I've spent a few years living in London, and have always had a great love for, and interest in, the Underground. A girl I worked with there's father was a Tube driver, and it was from him I first learned the locations of many of the abandoned stations. Keep an eye out for a book called...

I must admit that when it first came out, I wasn't too keen on it. A guy I knew had all the episodes of each storyline on tape, and when I borrowed a couple of his Next Gen tapes, one of them had the first part of Homecoming on it as well. I watched it for lack of anything better to do, and I was su...
