I'm not fussed - there has to be something for the news to write about, after all. As long as the report doesn't give away too many details (like saying "one of the Vishal's 5 destroyers were harmed in the quake"), then I don't see a problem.

The Erkirithi-Sha do not actively pursue war, nor do we cling too strongly to devolved notions of universal peace. The scientist can observe that violence leads to a species' evolution and prosperity. Those who exclusively pursue a path of peaceful existence have more in common with the savage, than...

That's a possibility, but I don't think even an isolationist empire could hide its wealth, unless it had no trade or diplomatic links whatsoever (but, then, I'd doubt they'd be that rich without much trade). Listing them without order would be fine but, if one empire was much richer than the rest, i...

I was going to write an article on the five most rich empires, but that's unfair on those empires. Apologies. I don't think it's that unfair. Given the exchange of trade, and a galactic currency, I don't think the richest nations could hide their wealth - much as is the case in the real world. If I...

This is not acceptable to us. Trade of the insidious Fountain of Youth drug runs counter to the laws of nature, and will only lead to the denizes of this galaxy becoming enthralled to the peddlers of Maelstrom's bounty. We believe our suggestion that each empire should maintain a small fleet in orbi...

Ahh, the Savage Planet, G-40, and the Bungaboi men . . . I should have known they'd make an appearance. Best of luck to the coloniser! "The fungus, the beautiful fungus . . ." Now if only I can find the Eidolon Gorge, with its peculiar plant life. :D [an in-reference only one person will g...

We understand your concern, though we do not believe it is warranted in this case. It is true that our navy is great - the Galactic Column Bank freely admitted to us that our navy was the greatest they had encountered - though it is not true that we have designs on the planet. The Empire of the Erki...

Our generals are surprised that a military minded nation like the Erkirithi-Sha had not thought of this themselves, but these things happen. It was honorable of them to offer their help. We did, in fact, suggest this: As such, Chairman Kalaid proposes that each empire stations a fleet of military v...

To the Auctor of the Delucrii , I have been instructed by the government of Chairman Kalaid to announce the standing of the Empire of the Erkirithi-Sha on the issue of the Fountain of Youth . I'm non-plussed either way. It seems like a good idea, but too many threads leads to clutter. Clutter leads to chaos. Chaos leads to anarchy. Anarchy leads to destruction. Thus, an extra thread could very well lead to the downfall of society. Not that I'm against that - but it might mean the game is...

The offer of the T'lesir Core is an excellent one. The Empire of the Erkirithi-Sha, however, shall not be taking it up. We have a natural gift and inclination for science, and can research our own technologies at least as cheaply as the T'lesir Core is capable of doing.

It is the position of the Erkirithi-Sha in this matter, and in any like to it, to react with appropriate force to violence or threats of violence. We do not think it strange that a species such as The Overmind might want to destroy and consume other worlds. War is a natural state for a civilised spe...
