Linna and all...interesting stories and I think this project is pretty fun :D Turam noticed out of the corner of his eye Lilat approaching. Scoras, * he cursed to himself - not Lilat. Anyone but Lilat. Lilat stood directly in front of him with her piercing blue eyes as if he she could see through hi...

Cord Hurn, I actually loved your idea that the tapestry could be used as a map- thought I would just throw Forestal couple other possibilities. :D Since we are not too positive about the powers and locations of some of the Wards Forestal has a chance to be creative and exercise some degree of libert...

Wayfriend, this is amazing work. I never fully appreciated Linden and her absolute necessity to this degree before. I pretty much got it by end of Second Chronicles but all you have written makes me understand and respect her on even deeper level. I am getting myself ready for a second read of the L...

I agree with using wars for despair. Yeah sorry was not trying to create another discussion about what Kevin should have done. I guess my only point in bringing him up was that he is the only Lord we know about close enough to Foul to have an increased likelihood of doing something directly to Foul....

I agree with many of the points in this post why Covenant had to be the one and why others could not achieve similar victories. Just another thought though - Lord Foul never allowed anyone close enough in proximity (besides Kevin - more on that in a minute) to be allowed a chance to defeat him. Lord...

(Funny) things that would have made Covenant surrender ring
I was reading some of the other threads and quite a lot of posters are very humorous. So here is another chance to shine. What are some funny ways that Lord Foul could have made Covenant surrender his ring. I have thought of two scenarios: 1. Force Covenant to watch Batman and Robin wearing a batsui...

Two contenders: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation - McConaughy's acting especially cringeworthy Batman and Robin (1997) - I think I was in too much shock to realize how unbelievably horrible this film was- if I was in a torture camp they would just threaten to show me this film and I woul...

Good points wayfriend. I admit it can be difficult for me to take a step back and see things from a story standpoint. I think bottom line for me is Donaldson might have written Foamfollower as such a great character that it set the bar unbelievably high. Or let me put it this way imagine the first c...

Giants
I know this topic has bounced around quite a few threads but throwing in my two cents in a thread by itself. I know many of you, including myself, were disappointed some by who the giants were treated in The Last Chronicles. To me they do not seem as compelling as in other Chronicles. I have decided...

Greetings
Greetings from Chicago Illinois. I first found the Chronicles when I was a teenager and can still remember how moved I was by Covenant's journey with Foamfollower and I have been hooked ever since.
