Where We Are Billy the Kid I can't hold you close and I can't have you near Or let you go or keep you here And I can't change a thing And I can't change your mind Or save the day Or go back in time Because where we are Is just where we are falling farther from so far Underneath morning sheets Tell ...

Zarathustra,
Live sounds good to me. I'll have to look for that one. Enjoyed the Heart homage to Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Honors, with Bonham's son on drums and Plant, Page and Jones in attendance.

EDIT: they have it in my local library system so have a hold on it. Thanks for the rec.

Stevie,
What I find about 90s music is it isn't dated at all. In the 90s, 70s music sounded really retro. In the 2010s, 90s music still sounds fresh like today's music.

Stevie,
Just for Live and Dave Matthews Band the 90s get rated great by me. Throw in Alanis, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Better Than Ezra, etc. and it made it a tough choice for me.

For me it's the 80s although more accurate would be 77-85. New wave music as well as much straight rock n roll that got mixed in with it like Tom Petty is my favorite. I also love 90s music but feel like the music I like from that decade was really a progression from what was started in the 80s. I s...

Just got The Killers, Battle Born. On first couple of listens it will probably easily make it at least as high as 11 on my list at the end of the year.

Lucy,
Love those two also. What I find with Rudgren's and Springsteen's songs are that my soul rises up to meet them. When I hear them they stir me up inside and I have to 'groove' with them.

The Ricki song, I have to get in a quiet place and turn it up loud, but love the lyrics and the mood.

Interesting version. The classic riff kinda gets lost in the heavy metal, but I can see where metal fans would like this one.

I forget how much I like this tune and it's message until it comes up on my playlist. Love is the Answer Utopia Name your price and take it to paradise I can't stay here any more And I've looked high and low I've been from shore to shore to shore If there's a short cut, I'd have found it But there's...
