So the other day I'm on a Facebook group "Everything Sci-fi and Fantasy" and someone makes a post asking for book recommendations to read.
He lists off a bunch on books that he has read and then at the end he says that he "Hated the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant".
By the time I'm reading this there are already about 30 recommendations.
So I, of course, just post "The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant".
Someone replies to me "He said that he hated that series."
To which I replied "Hellfire!"
THEN, unexpectedly to me, the original poster replied to me: "lol, I do get that reference though".
I thought the whole things was funny.
Even someone who isn't a fan took a little of TC with him.
(insert your leper joke here:)
