A quantum circuit
Let's suppose you had a series of waystations for the transmission of information, where at each juncture an observer would either observe the transmission or not. So like an alternating, consecutive sequence of dual-slit experiments. The flow of energy in this would be like in a circuit, it seems, but with quantum implications or something, maybe? IDK, I just like the idea.

Data is being described as 'the new oil' Mig, and who knows, the type of scenario you suggest [or other, even more unpredictable consequences of the flow] may yet raise their heads. Will, for example, data flow behave 'chaotically'; does it already - and do we have the math in place to 'tame' it if it does begin to do so?
