Oh, I won the simpler version of the game... okay, I'll take it!
Do we know who wrote the Oath of Peace?
Anyway, speaking of the Oath of Peace, here y'all go* - the next one to guess:
"I also intended that my offer of hospitality should be an apology. I was prepared to injure you, and that violation of my Oath of Peace needs reparation..."
* Thanks for the PM, Sky. Yes, I completely forgot about this thread. And my responsibility to carry on!

"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

Oh and the OOP is regularly ascribed to Berek, and often referred to as Berek Code.
So not Kevin, the OOP was formulated following Kevins actions.... but Berek did not himself pen it.
The surviving Lords revealed it .. an obscure one in particular ... but it currently fails my memory. But I will dig it out and get back on this.

This is fairly unrelated, buuuut... when I was attempting to Google +"I also intended that my offer of hospitality should be an apology. I was prepared to injure you, and that violation of my Oath of Peace needs reparation" (because we've already packed LFB into a box.. along with... many books, and you can never be too sure.)
...I accidentally discovered this story:
Hotel guest's hilarious apology letter will have you in stitches

Geez this is a tricky one .. I am not sure at all ... so will put out a few guesses .. was it Clyme? Or Branl .. or is it from the 1st chrons?
Dont answer my questions .. I will have to go search. I mean could it be something that even Bannor said but .. doesnt sound like something that a bloodguard would say.. but perhaps

It wouldn't be Clyme or Branl, Skyweir, for the rules of this game stipulate that only the First Chronicles or Second Chronicles can be used as source material for quotes. Clyme and Branl are Haruchai from the Last Chronicles.Skyweir wrote:Geez this is a tricky one .. I am not sure at all ... so will put out a few guesses .. was it Clyme? doh then Cail .. it has to have been Cail .. or another blood guard .. but who besides would have made such a strong statement?
Bannor? ... but I dont see Bannor making the latter part of that statement.
But I dont really read all that closely .. as can be seen from my "not really reading the game titles" very closely at all.
Well thats me all over .. I skim .. especially stuff Im not too serious about
my bad
ok
