Lord Foul the Maine Coon

Post by DrPaul »

When I saw these photos I was struck by the resemblance of some of them to Lord Foul as he is described in TPTP after Covenant shreds his penumbra.

I agree! The eyes and the mane on the Maine on the left fit my visualization of Lord Foul fairly well.

Lord Foul as a cat? 8O Uh, I'm not buying it, and I'm a damn cat. Cats don't despise so much as show disdain. And we are steadfast in our grooming, and therefore never "foul".

Those Maine Coons are certainly fearsome looking felines, though. I wouldn't want to run into one in a dark alley, that's for sure.

You know what, if the Chronicles was cats, I could totally see Fangthane as a Maine Coon. Lord Prowl the Disdainer. Lord Feline's Catnip. Hmm. Oh, aha!...

King Claws the De-Mouser!!!

Perhaps Lord Foul as a cat would favor using the Illpurrth Stone.

Some of them do indeed appear to have eyes as carious as fangs.
