Hmmm... is that an obscure literary reference?

Next will be... someone who tells people they should answer to no one?
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

And the guest room is the nicest bedroom in the house.
I'll hold you to that!

'Tis an obscure Blackadder reference. Two, actually. The correct response is:

"Um, well, what we are talking about in privy terms is the latest in front wall fresh air orifices combined with a wide capacity gutter installation below."

"You mean you crap out the window?"

Someone who has seen the blue stone of Galveston.

Please do. I would love to meet you. But you will definitely need to give some advance notice, and preferably make it during a weekend so I that I have more time to be around to entertain you.
Oh, and don't think it is too swanky, because it says more about the rest of the house than it does about the bedroom. But it is the only bedroom with its own bathroom (and shower).
Oh, and I forgot that Uss and Lorin stayed with us for a night during there escapades together. I guess you could kind of consider our house the Kevin's Watch B&B of Colorado.

Nope. I think the next poster will be Atomic.

Not a single right guess the whole page. That should mean something.

Cord, because he's around somewhere.

I helped blow the temporary streak.

I think it is safe to say that the next person has baked a pie.

Yes.
But you must understand... baking pies is a sort of sore spot for me; my husband is better than I am by a HUGE country mile...

So I find the process tedious and painful, but he's like this dude who can slap out a good pie rapidly while only concentrating half his attention on it.

Ah well.

I'm reluctant to ask what you're feeding the snake.

This is how I usually think of myself, discouraged funk I've been goin' through lately notwithstanding...

anyways, so I accidentally clicked on this thread & therefore must post to it...

First, Khal- a wise choice.

Hmm. Someone who...
...thinks that baby cockatiels covered in pinfeathers are ugly.
(because if I'm wrong, I find another member of my very small tribe! so far, I know one or two other people who agree with me that they're cute. Good luck, person-after-me, figuring out what the right answer to this is.)

Or not not me. But not you. Not that not not you is bad, just not not not me.

Someone who actually tried to follow that.

I am not not not you. I think. I thought I had it figured out, but now my brain hurts. And to answer Linna's question, I think most baby birds are ugly, but most ugly baby animals are cute.

Someone who agrees that baby animals are cute.
