Members list?

Any reason why the members list doesn't seem to be functional today?

Yep - working again today. I'm going to be lazy and ask - can one read all of ones own posts chronologically in any way? I'll go over to my profile and have a look, but I believe I tried this once before and for some reason it doesn't include all of the posts one has made, even if you click the 'show all posts' link (or whatever it is called). In case you're wondering, there are posts I have a very fond memory of (one in which I described an imaginary boxing match between Tolkien and Terry Brooks - I think it was at least - in particular) that I'd like to reread given the opportunity. Posting on the Watch is (in case you hadn't noticed ;) ) my way of scratching the compelling itch I have to write and it would be interesting to look back over some of the stuff I've written, in the manner of a dog returning to his.........

No, bad metaphor; let it rest!

No - quick update. The problem seems to be when I try to access profiles from the last postings on the main site page or thread topics. You know, that little booky icon that shows you who made the last post on a given thread. Well, I can't access the individual in questions profile from their name - just get a green screen with no information where usually it is full of information about that individual.

Just to amplify what I was asking above; on the main Kevin's Watch page, when you are signed in, in the top right above the page, small blue writing says "view your posts" or something like. When I hit this I get a page come up telling me that there are sixteen hundred and whatever results and then a list of threads, not all of which (on that page) feature my name. I assume that the eight thousand plus posts that I'm told elsewhere that I have made, are distributed amongst these sixteen hundred plus results, each of which I assume is a thread in which one or more of my posts could be found......but only by trawling through them manually page by page.

Don't get me wrong; I haven't got a problem doing this - but if there's a quicker way it would be nice to know (and also, to be aware of the size of the undertaking in advance is to a degree to be forearmed!

;)

Ah, damn, yes, I'm having the same issue with profiles. No idea why.

As for the posts thing, it's just that there's too many. Once you get past a certain number, (I think it's 7,500) the board can no longer find the rest of your posts.

You are a victim of your own proliferate posting I'm afraid. :D

Noticed the other day that the slow Tank loading time seemed much better; wonder if the two things could be related?

Mmmm yeah - it was really brief, about two or three times, I loaded the Tank screen in literally a second or two........

Then it seemed to go back to its forever to load mode. Curiouser and curiouser as Alice would have said.
