I like it!
Personally, I like to see any person's interpretations of scenes from The Books - even (and sometimes especially) if they don't match up with what I have pictured in my own head. Others pick up on character details that I never focussed on before, and it makes me say, "oh, yeah - I remember that."
For years I always had Vain pictured as more ur-vile than human. It never really said in the book whether he was closer to man or beast, so I assumed that the ur-viles would create something more in their own image. But the more often I read the books, the more I got it into my head that he was more in the shape of a man. And then I saw the artists interpretation of the cast of characters standing in front of Revelstone (I think it's posted in the gallery somewhere), and Vain is clearly depicted as a man and not one bit (other than the absolute black color) ur-vile. Now that picture seems so right to me, that I can't imagine him anymore as "created by the ur-viles in their image".
I think the scene in White Gold Wielder where Covenant summons Nom is one of the most dramatic and powerful in the books. I still think Lord Mhoram's Victory blows everything away, but the last lines of that WGW chapter - "... the name of a sandgorgon. 'Nom.'" always send shivers up my spine. Ooh! There they go again! Weeeeeee!!!
