Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (no spoilers)

Post by High Lord Tolkien »

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

Kinda sucked.
"fantastic beasts" were few and far between.
"secrets" were everything fans already knew.
Maybe "other people's secrets that Dumbledore keeps".

I don't know, the whole thing had no point or meaning.
I wasn't a fan of the first two either.
The only ones I ended up caring about after 3 movies was the Muggle and his girlfriend and the plant creature Newt kept in his jacket. Oh, yeah and the platypus thing.
Everyone else was background noise.
Nobody seems happy or hardly ever smiles.
If it wasn't for Jessica Williams's wonderful "Lally" character, there wasn't anyone else interesting to me.
The choice to make Newt the lead still astounds me, so boring.
His brother is even more wooden.

The color tone of the movie was dark and grey, I mean for the entire damn movie.
Come on!

There was a moment when they went to Hogwarts and I was like, Yes! This is fun.
Then a young McGonnagall comes on screen and I'm like, Awesome, where is this going??
And then they leave.....
Hogwarts was about 2 minutes of screen time and Minerva said one line. lol

Also, Mads Mikkelsen and Oliver Masucci look to similar to be in the same movie.
lol
It was very confusing.
I thought I was just being stupid when I couldn't tell them apart but the people I was with thought the same thing.

Here's something funny.
I thought that the Credence Barebone character
(the one who turns out to be Dumbledore's brother)
was Young Snape.
Then I was disappointed.

Is "Cash Cow" a fantastical beast?
If so, "where to find them" is in theaters now.

Yeah, we were disappointed with this film. We liked the first one but now don't like 2 and 3.
