Public apology for my rudeness to The Esmer and my misunderstanding. Come to realise that he is a top member here.

We get carried away, indeed. Now Revan, follow suit.

In complete truth, I never had anything against Esmer anyways. I was just sticking up for you Loremaster, and Luci. Really, I don't know the guy. And right now am too busy in life to try. So I won't attempt to amuse myself anymore by having a go at him.

Now, I have to get back to work. :P

can I have a go at him?

Revan...the three of you (Lore, you, and the Ez) are great guys and three of my FAVORITE buds here at the Watch!

and Lore, good man, you may get aggravated everynow and then but you ALWAYS make a point of apologizing whenever you feel you may have spoken harshly. you are, indeed, a gentleman!

and Ez,...what can i say? with the exception of Syl, you were my first friend here at the Watch. for me, the Watch wouldn't be the Watch without you.

hugs all 'round cause i'm sappy.

heh, you're wonderful. :D

Yeah, Loremaster was my first friend at the Watch. First person I really chatted too. And I respect him a lot. So *shrug* I don't like to see him offended.

Anyways, I've edited the posts. I apologise also. When I get the internet home, I'll make the effort to get to know you better. Right now I have to rely on 15 minute sessions during my work breaks and days off to get online at the Library.

Later - Revan.

The second Human Guy was a young man
of unknown identity who was severely
injured during a car crash. After a long
hospitalization, including a number of
reconstructive surgeries in which much
of his skeleton was replaced by steel,
he took on the masked identity of the
Human Guy. As the Human Guy, he would
perform daredevil stunts to benefit various
charities, especially those helping children
with disabilities. The crowds would cheer.

His activities often drew him into conflict
with criminals, who were often seeking to
rob the charity events at which he performed.
Additionally, he drew the attention of Ani-Man,
who thought he may be the villain of the same.

The character was based on real-life stuntman
Rick Rocket. The comic book carried the tag line
"The Worst Super-Hero Ever – Because He's Real!",
and photographs of someone in a Human Guy
costume appeared in the books. Long Gunman,
a high-ranking member of Funny's editorial staff
at the time of publication, said in 2017 that the
photos were indeed of Rick Rocket, aka Human Guy.

COMMON SCAMS
Adoption Fraud

Unethical adoption service providers can take advantage of an emotionally charged process to deceive and defraud prospective adoptive parents or birth parents considering adoption. Learn what to look out for, how to protect yourself and your family, and what to do if you're a victim.

Business and Investment Fraud

Scammers are always looking to separate you from your money in business transactions. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Business Email Compromise

Business email compromise (BEC) is one of the most financially damaging online crimes. It exploits the fact that so many of us rely on email to conduct business—both personal and professional.

Charity and Disaster Fraud

Charity fraud scams can come in many forms: emails, social media posts, crowdfunding platforms, cold calls, etc. They are especially common after high-profile disasters. Always use caution and do your research when you're looking to donate to charitable causes.

Consumer Fraud Schemes

Learn more about common scams that target consumers from our partners at the Federal Trade Commission.

Elder Fraud

Each year, millions of elderly Americans fall victim to some type of financial fraud or confidence scheme, including romance, lottery, and sweepstakes scams, to name a few.

Election Crimes and Security

Fair elections are the foundation of our democracy, and the FBI is committed to protecting the rights of all Americans to vote. If you suspect a federal election crime, contact the FBI.

Health Care Fraud

Health care fraud is not a victimless crime. It affects everyone and causes tens of billions of dollars in losses each year. The FBI is the primary agency for investigating health care fraud, for both federal and private insurance programs.

Holiday Scams

When shopping online during the holiday season—or any time of year—always be wary of deals that seem too good to be true, and do your part to avoid becoming a scammer’s next victim.

Money Mules

A money mule is someone who transfers or moves illegally acquired money on behalf of someone else. Some money mules know they are supporting criminal enterprises; others are unaware that they are helping criminals profit. Don't be a mule.

Ransomware

Ransomware is a type of malicious software, or malware, that prevents you from accessing your computer files, systems, or networks and demands you pay a ransom for their return.

Romance Scams

Protect your heart—and your wallet—by learning to spot and prevent romance scams.

Sextortion: What Kids and Caregivers Need to Know

Sextortion is a crime that involves adults coercing kids and teens into sending explicit images online. The FBI has several resources to help caregivers and young people better understand what sextortion is, how to protect against it, and how to talk about this growing and devastating threat.

Skimming

Skimming occurs when devices illegally installed on ATMs, point-of-sale (POS) terminals, or fuel pumps capture data or record cardholders’ PINs.

Spoofing and Phishing

Spoofing and phishing are schemes aimed at tricking you into providing sensitive information—like your password or bank PIN—to scammers.
