Yeah, it was more free association on my part.
But seriously, West Wing is an awesome show. And that's coming from one who doesn't know much about politics. The humor and the characters and their interactions are great.

Since the Solstice occured at 9:48 PM in Britain, long after sunset, English Heritage Society live streamed this morning's, December 22nd's, sunrise on Facebook. The recorded version of the sunrise is on their Facebook page.Damelon wrote:The December Solstice occurs today at 21:48 UTC. Will they do anything at Stonehenge?

Oh my goodness--I sure remember that West Wing episode!!Fist and Faith wrote:Hey, remember the episode of West Wing when they had the cartographers? That was excellent.
I actually re-watched the exact clip on YouTube a couple months ago, because I was thinking of dropping it into an online conversation on Discord.
It was great.
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor
"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"
