Yeah, my strongest memory of him by far is that movie. I've never followed the sport. But it seems to me he was the one who started it all.

Well, LOL, I guess in the US he was actually a very big (perhaps massive) part of the national popularisation of soccer. :D

Whether you consider that being "started it all" is open to interpretation I guess. :lol:

However, he certainly was arguably (and probably in my opinion), the greatest football player of all time.

(I never heard of that movie. :D Had to Google it.)

The movie is silly but fun.
Stalone has way too much screen time, imo.


There's a great line with Pele though.
