Testing my posting powers

Can't post in the tank at the moment! Just checking to see if I'm having trouble here. If I'm gonna spam somewhere, then here.

I am confused by this game.
I think you should have stated the rules more clearly in the OP, Holsety.

For example, is it a solipsisy* game that is only intended to test -your- (Holsety's) posting powers?
In that case, I'll respect your decision. (except insofar as I will already have made this post, which I don't intend to delete, as it's part of the "official record.")

I suggest you make this a game where others can others test their posting powers on this thread, too.
Mallory's is a sort of collaborative environment!

Okay, done with snark.
I see you asked in the Q&A subforum and people have directed you to the thread about the infamous "406 Not Acceptable" error message.
Good.

* Wait, that's not the definition I wanted!
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

It seems your powers are at full strength.

Due to the popularity of the Moscow mule, other buck cocktails with different liquors have been labeled with the "mule" name in recent years. Variations with the name changed accordingly:

Aussie mule: Bundaberg Rum.

Bohemian mule: Absinthe.

Dead man's mule: Absinthe and cinnamon schnapps.

French mule: Cognac and angostura bitters.

Gin-gin mule, London mule, Munich mule, Foghorn: Gin.

Glasgow mule: Blended Scotch whisky and St-Germain liqueur.

Irish mule: Irish whiskey.

Jallu-muuli: Jaloviina.

Jamaican mule: Spiced rum.

Kentucky mule, Horsefeather: Bourbon.

Manila mule: Lambanog and calamansi instead of lime.

Mexican mule: Tequila.

Merican Mule: Canned Moscow Mule brand.

Mezcal mule: Mezcal.

Mistletoe mule: Garnished with rosemary and cranberries.

New Orleans mule: Bourbon and coffee liqueur.

Oslo mule: Akvavit.

Portuguese mule: Pinguça.

Prickly pear mule: Pear liqueur and Poire Williams.

Southern mule: Southern Comfort liqueur.

Tennessee mule: Tennessee whiskey.

Tuscan mule: Tuaca liqueur.

Berlin Mule: Jägermeister

Mississippi mule: Cathead Honeysuckle vodka.

Westphalian Mule: Korn, Apple juice instead of lime and cucumber
Another variation uses ginger syrup instead of ginger beer.

Other ingredients, such as carrot juice and angostura bitters, can also be added.

A variant which uses Mountain Dew soda in place of the ginger beer is known as a Moscow Mole

The Latin cogito, ergo sum,
usually translated into English
as "I think, therefore I am",
is the "first principle" of René
Descartes's philosophy.

He originally published it in
French as je pense, donc je
suis in his 1637 Discourse
on the Method, so as to reach
a wider audience than Latin
would have allowed. It later
appeared in Latin in his
Principles of Philosophy, and
a similar phrase also featured
prominently in his Meditations
on First Philosophy. The dictum
is also sometimes referred to
as the cogito.

As Descartes explained in a
margin note, "we cannot doubt
of our existence while we doubt."
In the posthumously published
The Search for Truth by Natural
Light, he expressed this insight
as dubito, ergo sum, vel, quod
idem est, cogito, ergo sum
("I doubt, therefore I am — or
what is the same — I think,
therefore I am").
Antoine Léonard Thomas, in a
1765 essay in honor of
Descartes presented it as
dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum
("I doubt, therefore I think,
therefore I am").

Antoine Léonard Thomas (1 October
1732 – 17 September 1785) was a
French poet and literary critic, best
known in his time for his great
eloquence, especially for éloges in
praise of past luminaries. It was in
recognition of this that he was
elected to Académie Française.
