I don't know why they needed Jack. Everyone who was assimilated would have acted like every other Borg. They never needed him before.

ST- Picard Season 3
Spoiler
I think Jack was an amplifier that enabled the borg queen to send the signal much further keeping herself safe, since the cube was compromised, while they took over. A better question for me was why did they lower shields to let Picard and team beam to the cube?

ST- Picard Season 3
Spoiler
Never understood why the Borg let everybody beam aboard all the time. Talk about a security issue. "They'll ignore us. Individuals don't interest them." Duh

ST- Picard Season 3
I just finished S3 and it was AWESOME.
I've hated almost most of Trek since Voyager ended and this was what I desperately needed to say I'm a fan without being embarrassed.
The story was very well thought out and written.
I found Shaw very interesting. I had a love hate thing with his character. That makes a good character to me.
His comment regarding the good and bad things that this Cast had done in the past was hysterical.
The use of music was perfectly done.
I was hearing sounds from the whole Trek history!
When Worf first appeared I think they played the music used from the Motion Picture, when the Klingon ships were going into battle.
Is that accurate?
It sounded like it to me.
I missed the end credit.
I'll check it out tonight.

Yeah, the Borg letting everything happen on the Cube seemed a little weak but it let everything else in the story come to fruition.

I don’t remembere that Klingon music, but really loved hearing all the themes throughout!
Very much enjoyed the series!
But you don’t like Discovery or Strange New Worlds?

If you go back and watch even Best of Both Worlds, access to the Borg ship was always a thing. They almost never had their shields up.

This was my Favorite season of Trek for a long time. (Although Season 2 of Discovery was excellent as well).
Vadic, is played by Amanda Plummer and did an outstanding job on being this villain. I didnt spoil that because it's information that was in the previews of this season. An interesting factoid about her playing this role is that her Dad (Christopher Plummer)also was a villain in Star Trek VI as General Chang

Ok so wow - we watched the final episode of Picard last night - I truly thought they could have done it over at least 2 episodes and I would have been as happy. Hot dam! This season was the absolute bombdiggity! Freaking awesome!

All I can say is that it was bloody brilliant and I absolutely loved it
But as it ended
Spoiler
it looked like it may be setting up another season or a spin off
Spoiler
either way - boy oh boy Id love to see more of the original SNG cast - so whether that is 7 that's fine by me. Cant say Im a big jack fan - but guess we'll see if and where that may or may not go

Glad you enjoyed it! I loved it and loved all the little parts of Trek they sprinkled along the way. Especially the music.
