Now reading Stephen R. Donaldson's The Man Who Tried to Get Away.

The one where Brew and Ginny attempt to escape the threats on Brew's life from an inner-city mobster by hiring themselves out as security consultants for a secluded "murder mystery camp" in the mountains. It's planned as people play-acting at murders and mystery solving, then they get snowbound in the lodge they all are staying at, and people start really getting killed.

Easily the creepiest of the four SRD mystery books. :read:
