This raises an interesting question. IF it is the real Jeremiah being brought to Revelstone, and IF he's been tampered with by Foul and delivered to Linden et. al through the Demondim, why is Foul returning him ?
What springs to mind for me is that Foul knows that Linden will figure out the connection, and learn how to use the
caesures with much less pain, and without needing the Ranyhyn (although I doubt she'll ever need to worry about being without one). She'll think she can use them more easily and safely, and will start using them a lot more. And each time she does, she wears away at the AoT.

Right? Linden had no reason to think that
she would be visited a second time before the whole thing starts. Covenant was only visited the first time, but not the second.
