Designing and selling some new Watch/TC T-shirts

Post by danlo »

Here's the url to the original Kevin's Watch shop site: www.cafepress.com/kevinswatch where Jay has some great Thomas Covenant shirts: Like the 100% Unbeliever shirt I order twice a year cause I wear it so much. I do have Kevin's Watch bumperstickers an Myste's awesome "The only good Imager is a Rogue Imager" t-shirt available at my Elohimfest '04 shop cafepress.com/elohimfest. It costs way too much to have a custom membership there (and the prices to you are way too much) but what we can do is elimate 2 or 3 shirts at my shop and replace them with our designs. SRD has said it's ok to manufacture some as long as it benefits the Watch's functioning and nobody's really making any profit from it. (if we really make any profit I'll send it to Vain to help pay for the site.)

Edge has agreed to help with the designs and perhaps we can get kayseryn and Tom C to help, as well, since they did such a great job with Elohimfest. Other artists are welcome. Prehaps we could do a Kevin's Watch banner design (with the url on the back) as well as 1 or 2 famous sayings: Like the Hellfire, It's not that easy, Unbeliever, Lepers Rock, Don't touch me! etc...but I need everyone's suggestions and help! 8)

All the ones I've found so far require you to design them on an individual basis, rather than permanently hosting a design.

Uh, Danlo, the KW shop is still up, heh.

www.cafepress.com/kevinswatch

It's just that the link to it at the top of the forum doesn't work anymore (The "Store" link), for some reasons I don't know. We'd have to bug Vain about that.-jay

Way Cool!!!

I like the idea of having an Edge design on merchandise as well.

Perhaps the wallpaper on the back and KW logo on the front!

I might have to steal a picture of an appropriate design and get a shirt made by a uk site, since they're the only ones I can buy from without a credit card.

I definately would buy a shirt. or two, or three if they're good. I don't know the other artists, but if Edge is on the project, I haven't seen an edgetar I didn't like.

Would it be possible to transfer the avatars onto a t-shirt or hat?
I think that any Edge-atar (as I call them) would make a really cool
looking attention getter, with a SRD quote on the back.

(O.K.... it was just a suggestion. I will shut up now.)

What about some MN shirts? Havelock's quotes are great, though I could see how some people might not be comfortable wearing a shirt that says "By the hairy balls of the Arch-Imager's goat!' or (mature readers only)
Spoiler
"Piss on the slut!"

Could Danlo (or whoever designed the "Hellfire I Missed..." logo) pm/send it to me? It's not hosted on cafepress anymore, so I can't stick it on my own t-shirt...

Thanks for the design, Kas. I'll put one of those together when I get chance. I like your design in progress too.

Please have 'Don't Touch Me' on some. And have 'I'm Addicted to Amnion Mutagens', too!

What do you mean by this: it's no longer in the image library of the Elohimfest store? In any case kayseryn is the designer...I'd PM him. 8) Any ideas yet Edge? Or are you waiting for us to get our acts together? :?

I'm getting alot of curious looks at my new kevinswatch.com bumpersticker! I'm am just about to order a new 100% Unbeliever shirt from Jay's store as my old one (that I wore all the time) gave it up today! 8)

The Hellfire image just comes up blank if you try to save it from cafepress. Thankfully, Kas saw this thread and sent it to me 8)
