Katie- Be welcome and true!

I thought I was well versed on the subject of TC, too, having read the first six books at least 5 or 6 times, along with everything else SRD wrote. I found out differently when I got here- try going to the Pursuit of Mallory forum and clicking on the "who said that?" game........these guys are good......... I finished Runes about a month ago and am anxiously looking forward to Fatal Revenant, although it looks like it is going to be a while. :( It's nice to see another female my age obsessed enough with these books to join this forum! It's so hard to find good people to talk to about fantasy where I live. Anyway, good to have you here!

Hey Neighbor,

Welcome to the watch.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Greetings, Katie! I am 34 years (will be 35 in 3 months) old also and live in Texas (DFW). I love rereading them also. Although I stopped counting at 22 times... and that was in 1987. Now I can pretty much open any of the books to a specific part... in fact I did at Eloimfest! lol Welcome to the group!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I did my junior theme in high school on Donaldson.
