Just to say something i need

Post by Kalindril »

(English is not my native language, I'am sorry for the mistakes i will make :)
I can't describe what The Chronicles meant to me. The story would be long and full of turmoil. But I can say i grown with it. Inside this books are the truths and wizdom more profound than in the books of Dostojevski or Pushkin, ewen deeper than Herman Hese. The Land is place where one who is truely alive would love to live. As long as I live i'll never forget the beautifull Elena, the essence of frienship Saltenheart, the meaning of goodnes Mhoram, the unbreakable Banor. But than the words fail to describe emotions, one can only feel the life of The Land.
The sorow grows in those who are alive, becouse the true values are dying, but than we are fortunate because we know to listen our inervoices, we know how to love, and how to give. Wordless thanks to Mr. Donaldson

Kalindril, do you happen to have a warm, blond beard by any chance? :P

I thank you, friends. I am happy to know that there are more people in this troubled world who do care about the essence of their humanity. There is a legion that only spends their time, in lack of meaning, without the capabillity to see the divine world. And only a few (or it seems) that are happy to live life full. There is beauty to be seen by our eyes, enough for endless life.

About your mistakes, English is my native language and even I screw it up most fo the time. Other than that, welcome, be true, and have a great time debunking and counter debunking.

Kalindril, English may not be your first language, but you do very well with it. I have also felt the same feelings while reading about The Land. I am re-reading them after 20 years and at times it is hard to see the words on the page because my eyes are filled with tears.

I just finished TWL and after so many pages of gut-wrenching descriptions of the Sunbane and how Foul has twisted Earthpower, I thought my heart was going to burst with sadness. Then TC does the most amazing and wonderful thing by redeeming the slain Giants in the caamora at Coercri. I read those passages over and over while the tears just poured.

Nice to meet you, Kalindril. I look forward to more of your posts. Your English is just fine. :)
