Yello everybody. Just dropping by. Been quite busy over the week with a certain something, and I'll be a lot more busy with it till about the middle of July, so don't expect much to anything from me. I wrote what I think is my best poem, though, and I wanted to share it. Still wondering whether the title should be "She" instead of "Her", but it's all kind of subjective, isn't it?

HER
She seems more intelligent than
A thousand verses,
More poetic than a red rose.
She exhales sunlight, and
When she speaks,
Her language is a love that knows.
Ah--though she meanders in the
Darkest phases,
She is still as bright as a moon.
Her lilting smile graces for
The longest hours--
Even languid it’s still hot as noon.
Ah--she’s the one who sings when she
Talks so plainly--
Elicits truth from just a simple glare.
And if there’s anything--anyone
That I’ll provide her,
May it be my fingers through her hair?
Ah--her! Ah--her! Aw . . .

Its good to see you back LF :D. We have missed your wonderful poems. Her is beautiful. She would also be an appropriate name but as you said its all subjective. I like the title She. :D

Wonderful, Lord Foul! I like She as a title too. :)
Beware of cutlery. It is violent. And sharp.

Vayne has a good siggy-sense. ;)

Who would have guessed Lord Foul had such a poetic soul... :D

It's beautiful, my Lord!
Stone and Sea are deep in life,
two unalterable symbols of the world;
permanence at rest, and permanence in motion;
participants in the Power that remains.

I just did a tour of the Hall, and i have to agree with you, 'felice! :)

Lord Foul: a despiser with the heart of a Ranyhyn! :lol:
Stone and Sea are deep in life,
two unalterable symbols of the world;
permanence at rest, and permanence in motion;
participants in the Power that remains.

Where's it a bit rough, Vain? This is Foul, by the way. I modeled the poem's tune with "Girl" by The Beatles, so maybe you're reading it as a straight-forward poem, rather than a song or such.

Very nice job, Foul!
All lies and jest
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest
