What part of one's humanity goes to the Land?
Moderators: kevinswatch, Orlion
What I mean is regaining the feelings in his fingers and toes. That did not come until after he had been treated with the hurtloam. At least I didn't see any reference to it having come back until after. This was in reply to a posting of aliantha from two postings ago. They had stated that TC had traded up to a body without leprosy.
And actually, he had not had his leprosy removed or healed. It was just temporarily reversed because all of the symptoms returned before he came back to our earth.
Then again, maybe I misinterpreted what aliantha meant with that comment.

ok I'm with you now .. sorry about that Tohrm .. I believe you are right .. it was the hurtloam that gave his senses their renewed feeling ..
TC was healthier in the Land wasnt he? Was that just the hurtloam .. or was it also the presence of earthpower .. also present in the hurtloam .. but all around him in the Land too?
anyway .. that is probably way off the point ..
sky!

hurtloam
I also agree with you. I've always maintained that TC got his senses restored (and even strengthened) after hurtloam was applied in LFB and TIW. I also agree with Sky that earthpower had to be a part of the hurtloam's power to awaken health sense in TC. (I've kind of stood alone on the hurtloam issue till now. Thanks, Tohrm )

"At one time."
"What happened to her?"
"She has been dead."
"How long ago did she die?"
"Two thousand years."

OK, OK!
I think u're absolutely right Bannor--it was the hurtloam itself. I really thought 4 some dumb reason that he felt some sensation right after he came down from KW, but I appear 2 b wrong. I probally did the erroneous posting, Tohrm..**takes all the heat off poor aliantha, puts it on self!**

punishment
LOL Sky! Methinks the punishment should always fit the crime, so I think the self-imposed one (though symbolic) would be fitting.
Thanks, Danlo. I always wondered if I was missing something there. (I miss the little wave emoticom that you have.)

Thanks, Sky for the super endorsement!
OK, Torham, we will need at least one pic showing you applying the wet noodle to your back!
Also, I will need at least 2 cents for pleading your case.

Curious
What I wonder is the way physical stuff is transferred while our anti-heroes are out of it...Doesn't Linden wake up actually wearing the ring? If not, this doesn't count. But if she didn't get knocked out wearing it, how did it get there in our world, just disappear/reappear? Weird....Or does she remove it from his dead body....
