Probably the most asked question on here but.....
Hi all
Im new to this site and this is my first post. Obviously a big fan, was excited and nervous when I heard about Runes of the Earth and was absolutely blown away! One of the best. My question is simple - does anyone have any info on a Fatal Revenant release date? Cant wait!
Oh by the way - if the movie gets made its gotta be Russell Crowe
Cheers guys [/b]

By Donaldson's own forecast (his publishers have given him 36 months to write each book) sometime in '09, IIRC.
And Crowe already turned down the part. Too challenging, apparently.

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Fatal Revenant/Movie
Hey thank you all, appreciate it. I read SRD's post on his own site about the movie - so I realise this may be no more than educated speculation, but have any other names been touted as possibles for Covenant?

Well, they offered the part to me and then they met me and withdrew the offer. They said that Covenant wasn't black. I said neither am I.
Hail Nazaradine. Welcome and well met.

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

NO!
Way too old & craggy. Might as well recommend Robert Redford.
Come to the Movie Forum, Grimmand Honninscrave, and you can fight it out there!
