Mr. & Mrs. Smith...

Post by Usivius »

I didn't see a post on this. It looked good and I want to take my wife to a movie on Friday. Is there a concensus among this august movie group?...

My soon-to-be ex saw it, and didn't like it that much, but I think it HAS to be worth seeing just because Angelina looks so freaking HOT in the previews........

dAN's right, Angelina alone is worth the price of admission.

I'm not a fan of Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie (sp?)?

Well, perhaps my gender has something to do with it. But, unless there's really an engaging plot, I'm not much of a fan of action films.

While I enjoyed the MiB movies, I have never seen Independence Day for example. And, I most likely will not see WotW, even though Beorn and Paul will be off to see it this weekend.

Yeah, there were some cute chicks in both MiB flicks......

I've seen Mr and Mrs Smith. It's good, and worth seeing, and a nice choice for a husband/wife to see together (marriage humor).

It's a cross between The War of the Roses and True Lies.

I saw it. I would give it a B.

There were some very funny moments.

I liked it far more than I thought it would. And Wayfriend assessment is quite accurate although, it put me more in mind of War Of The Roses than True Lies.

I loved it!
How could you not like this movie. It was great: Two fantastic looking actors, who can actually act; great action, hilarious dialogue and acting... Me and the missus were laughing all the way through ... which is good, becuase we had an argument just before going and just watching this movie with its hilarious 'married-couple' message was great... Since seeing it on Friday, we are well on our way to matching the weekly total that Mr. Smith says he and Mrs. Smith achieved....

My favourite part (and I usually like these little, obscure moments), was when Mr. & Mrs. Smith are racing home in their cars and Mr. has his car smashed in the driveway by Mrs... the look on Brad Pitt's face and the half second delay before he yells, "AHHH!" in either pain or frustration... hilarious....

Agreed, Angelina does indeed look amazing in the previews, which alone does make me want to spend £5:50 at the cinema. I look forward to seeing this film... but look forward to seeing Angelina more. :P

Well worth the price of admission.

What I meant was, everybody just stopped trying to kill them?
Just like that it was all over?
I liked the movie but then at the end I was saying "Dumb, dumb, dumb...."
