Crazy comp problem

Post by Worm of Despite »

All right, it's mostly fixed, thanks to use of my HP recovery disc, BUT the problem seems relegated to my recycling bin, of all places. When I try to empty the recycling bin, it gives me this message:
Explorer has caused an error in < unknown >
Explorer will now close
It's insane! Vain, you know what the heck is going on with my comp? It seems I never run out of comp problems . . .

PS. The <> are actually right together, next to the word "unknown", and not spaced out, but if I put them together, it makes the word disappear <unknown>

UPDATE:

Now, instead of "unknown", it says "KERNEL32.DLL". Would it be safe to delete that file?

Heh, good luck, Foul. My comp's gone buggy, too. For one, what once was a 10 gig HD is now 2 gig, and I can't play any media files. All of that would be no problem if the frikkin' HP app recovery CD would work (it can read the disk, but it won't execute anything off it).
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I'm always very picky about my comp's well being, seeing as I've got the Great Rome, Georgian Novel on it. I need to get it saved on a disc or something. By the way, for some strange reason it decided to stop giving me errors, and the recycling bin just decided to work. Strange--in a good way!

I am glad thing started working out for you. It would be awful if you lost your novel! I have been having problems with mine, too, but they seem to be related to AOL. When I go certain places at Ahira's Hangar, I get this weird AOL error message and it boots me right offline.

I need to fix my computer too. Maybe a quick flash of the mainboard bios will do it.

Elohim can be somewhat unbalanced anyway but I think this one is drunk with power!

And this would make her different from the other Elohim in what way?

You seem to be under the impression that I have some sort of alcohol related health issue Mr Slaughterer....however your misconceptions will be discounted. You have demonstrated the appropriate measure of reverance and fear.

No no "drunk" with power not alcohol. Although that could explain the...

All he gets is HMPFFF! ?
Fair enough I guess.
