An Evening with Stephen King

Post by Cheval »

Just an announcement if anybody else is interested...

Stephen King will be in St. Petersburg, FL at the Eckerd College on January 21, 2006.

The event is the 2nd Annual Writers in Paradise conference.
Also scheduled are:
Dennis Lehane
Mark Bowden
Brian Helgeland

Sould I spend the $20 to attend?
I've several SK novels and a few Dennis Lahane and enjoy both writers,
but I am not familiar with Mark Bowden nor Brian Helgeland.
(Any comments would be appriciated and may spark my interest in going to the conference.)
Have you hugged your arghule today?

I guess it would depend on how much you enjoyed the novels by those authors. :)

The two times I met authors, I really enjoyed the experiences. 8)

Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I met John Brunner that way.

The announcement in The Weekly Planet* did not specify.
(Make note to self and try to find more info.)

* Weekly Planet is a local "around-the-town" type of publication.
(Listings of concerts, dining, movies, local stories, and so on.)
