Okay, dating myself, but I used to be on some old BBS boards about 10 years ago...in the days of DOS. There was a TC board I belonged called "The Land". You would dial in and download messages into a message reader, I used QMPro. It was alot of fun. I am so glad I found this site! It's bringing back alot of great memories :)

Heh. I, too, miss the BBS days sometimes (though I'm only 26). Used a Commodore 128 (later, an Apple IIgs), thought I was cruisin' with a 2400 baud modem. I don't remember using any specific program, just ASCII. All I could get to, though, were the local Reno boards.

Well, tLF, when Hellfire and I go we could probably take the northern route (the way I usually prefer to go across the states) on I-80. If you wanted, I'm sure we could swing by for lunch or something. I'm thinking I might rent a little motor home for this excursion... make a nice vacation out of it, maybe pick up some Watch stragglers if they needed a ride (sorry, no minors or felons ;) ).

Ooooh that would be cool! Sadly, I am both a minor and a felon. Wanted in 54 states (that's right, 54!!!) and Canada for several random acts of arsony of mixed fruit and disturbing the peace via spreading heresy about leper fairies taking over the UN and other government agencies... Heh. :twisted:
