i thought this topic deserved revival since we're pullin out all our favorites...

and speaking of Hartford, used to watch Glen Campbell every week just in the hopes John would play and do a jig!!! saw him live long ago at a festival in Kentucky, The September Sun Festival...held on the longest day of the year...Let Him Go On, Mama is my favorite...

Sam Bush ROCKS! My all time favorite mandolin player. I saw him at Merlefest a few years ago, he really put on a show.

Lucimay, just when I think you can't get any cooler, you revive my bluegrass thread. Here's to ya!

here's some great musicians i discovered at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in 2004...held in Golden Gate Park, it's a FREE festival!!!! this photo was taken there and that year there were some great acts...John Prine, Steve Earle, Emmy Lou...two days of great music!
But Buddy and Julie Miller were a GREAT discovery!!!
