I am holding my Rhanyhn...but I also would like to patake in a dissection. My preferred chapter would be Chapter 11: Hints

I will wait patiently for acceptance or refusal.

I had previously expressed a willingness to partake in a dissection of Runes; I now retract that. I will dissect when the series is over, perhaps, but not before then. Somehow I feel that such deep discussion of the book would not be as fulfiling without knowledge of the remainder of the Last Chronicles (ie, without knowing the full consequences and connotations of the events within Runes).

True, but I think the Dissections were always *supposed* to be without reference to the future books, and we have just been cheating.

I personally am looking forward to speculating, while we might all be *wrong* and ignorant about what SRD really has planned. It will help us see if we are on the same wavelength as him, or if we are better authors than he is.

True. Personally, one of my favourite things about going back through the books is seeing how the events all link together, spotting cause and effect, which is why I prefer to know what the events are before going into so much detail.

Murrin, I can understand your point. I am on book four of Stephen King's Dark Tower series right now, and so many things in the first book have come back and become huge parts of the plot...and, of course, if you had only read the first book, you would not fully realize how important those events were.

No silly, they always have there own threads. Announcements of chapt posting times or posting problems usually go in the sign-up thread. Silly, or subtle, caam--Jay make him a mod here already! I can see it's going to be a long summer!

No, I know that I start a new thread with the chapter. I used this to let you guys know that I hadn't forgotten. Goodness knows, the mind is the second thing that goes... and I cannot remember the first thing.

Thank you, Wayfriend. I hope indeed that they find me. Actually, they found me three weeks ago when I signed up. I couldn't wait to get started!

Actually, I decided that I am going to go get another copy at lunchtime and post this afternoon. I am so excited to get this started......
