Okay. Perhaps we have elimnated the Illearth Stone with this new info but Foul's Servant need not only have been Covenant or Drool. The entire Land could be thought of in that way.

THAT was AWESOME!!! 8O 8O :D I love seeing stuff like that!! And the MAP!! How cool is that??? 8O I heard that at Kent ST they have the whole unedited version of The Illearth War on display. I would just LOVE to see that. :D

I've also seen handwritten copies of Tolkien. Absolutely incredible. :)
