Ravel, willkommen und ist zutreffend!

Used babelfish for that and I really really REALLY don't think that is an accurate translation!

Steadfast, maybe, instead of zutreffend? Also, forgotten my imperative case! But I'm sure it's not 'ist' is it?

Ravel, willkommen und harren Sie aus steadfast!

I think it should be past tense now, shouldn't it? I'm sure he passed away last year.

Nah. He went into the Witness Protection program, and framed his own death.

He knew who was really responsible for the assisnation of Kennedy.

That babelfish program looks excellent, Luci! But how accurate is it? Can I trust it not to make me look like an idiot? (Because I'm quite capable of idiocy on my own.)

Okay, I really do feel like an idiot now. It isn't translating my words. Did I miss something blindingly obvious?

I made some experiences (normal sentences and some of TOT english-german).
I had a lot to laugh :D
simple sentences are translated nearly accurate (if you have some fantasy to interprete), but everything which was a lot more than a few words, ended in non-intelligible phrases.

Therefore, you can use babelfish cautiously, but I think, if anybody has a few experience with german, he(she) does better to translate himself (or herself :) ).
It can´t be worse, than a lot of these translations I do here, for example  (and you accept it nevertheless)

My spanish tutor said she would kill us if we ever used Babelfish as it's crap. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Lucimay: you don´t need to blush. Better to try, than to do nothing. How else someone can learn if not by trying?
