Thank you.

It seems odd to disagree with SRD here, but WHAT WAS HE THINKING? 8O

It is an oddly weird choice...but at one point wasn't he suggesting Keanu "Whoa" Reeves for TC?

Everyone has their failings, guys. For instance, mine is drawing, painting, sketching, etc. Perhaps Donaldson's is taste in actors?

I see Sorus as a bit older and more...gritty. Sigourney Weaver, maybe. Sorus is definitely older than Nick, and I see him as mid thirties at the time of the novels.

Could work. Certainly a better choice than Jeri Ryan.

True, true. It's not shocking that he found Bionic Barbie attractive, but why Sorus?! She wasn't written as a 'babe'.

I'm somewhat biased because I think that Sigourney Weaver could've played Morn about 30 years ago. (Crosses my mind every time I see Alien.)

It looks like I'm ranting about myself in the third person again...

Back to the original topic, how do we know for certain that the actual amnion are deceptive? Maybe theyve just mutated a few humans who remember decptiveness and encorporated them into their 'decisiveness'?
She looked like a crowned vestal, somehow both powerful and fragile, as if she could shatter his bones with a glance and yet would fall from her seat at the touch of a single hurled handful of mud. She daunted him.

Surely it could be said that the amnion are simply amoral, and therefore lie outside human understanding. Its just that humans judge everything by human standards/morals, anything that doesn't fit is evil.
