Synopsis of the videos please for those of us on lowly dial-up access?
The red wings fold up a bit and he gets into a small slow flying propeller plane.
They reach a certian hieght and he jumps/falls out.
The wings expand/unfold (it wasn't clear how in the video)
He free falls for a bit then the rockets under the wings ignite.
It seems he can control the direction and pitch of the wings like on a real plane.
He "lands" feet down by deploying a parachute.
But this also wasn't too clear.
From the camera on his wing it looks like the chute released from his shoulders, he must have to wait until he's out of fuel and free falling again.

To be fair, I think #1 destroy most planes, if the "thing" is hard enough.Wayfriend wrote:It does look cool.
It also looks like it can create some pretty spectacular ways to die.
Spectacular Way to Die #1: crash headfirst into something at Mach 2.
Spectacular Way to Die #2: get a leg cramp at 50,000 feet.
Spectacular Way to Die #3: bird poop on plexiglas visor
etc.
I guess it all comes down to the question of whether it's more painful to bash open your brain, or to die in a fiery explosion and being crunched in your seat or something.
