I'm confused, because I don't consider most of the movies mentioned thus far to be romantic at all. Annie Hall?

Does "Last of the Mohicans" qualify?
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Heh-heh. Nothing like a nice ass-spanking office romance!

Somewhere in Time was good.
I guess Legends of the Fall would qualify as a romance.
I can give or take Robin Williams, but I thought What Dreams May Come was a pretty decent romance/fantasy (tips hat to Richard Matheson.)

you guys make me laugh ...
"Secretary"?... If I tried to sell that to my wife as a romantic movie, we would be sleeping back to back for a week!

Although she does have the "adventurer" streak in her, so "Last of the Mohicans" does count. ;)

"Somewhere in Time", eh?... will have to give it a try. And me and the missus have been curious to see the 'Canoe' Reeves and Sandra Bullock movie for a while... will try that too...

Interesting, I wouldn't call TBC a r/c. Guess it is though.

Can't believe I frickin' forgot 16 Candles. I'm putting that in 3d, with Dumb and Dumber as first honorable mention.
