Gamewall...
Is there some sort of gamewall to the Matirx? I mean, there has to be a limit to the processing power. Say, to the moon? Mabye mars? I can understand a backdrop, but actuall travel?

They'd certainly be able to do everything they could do before the Matrix was created. And we really don't know how much that was. I'll check 2nd Renaissance in Animatrix again, to see if there are things I forgot. The technology was good enough to creeate AI, but who knows.
But I guess the machines could throw lots of obstacles in the way of any technological advances.

Yeah, I mean, I assume they could pretty easily wipe a person memory should they suddenly "invent" a "new" version of AI. Even if they couldn't, what's the loss of ONE human to the total output of the system?
