Now that is curious, considering.

I have found out that he has barrier masking his powers; in short, he is more powerful than you all realise.
"Oh of course," the Navigator said with faint mocking in his voice, "you have probably heard of House Praetus. We have a palace on Holy Terra. Like all powerful groups, we also have our enemies. Do you honestly think someone like you matters?" - A dissolute noble.

I've always wondered, is this thread considered "in game" in respect to chatter?

My previous post in this thread was. This one isn't.

I have proselytized every turn for a while now and yet the number of worshippers I have hasn't changed at all, or if it has changed it's been a very small change of a hundred or so. Also, in a lot of those turns I have also received faith enhancing events, yet no growth.

Nor Yekith doesn't sleep, for why dream when he can enact dreams in flesh and stone?

About your questions...

1) I have no clue about Tsaloga; Nerdanel hasn't sent turn moves for over a month now, and someone told me that the last time she posted in KW was end of April, so I decided to temporarily take her off the list. When she returns, she can just PM me and I'll reinstate her.

2) In reference to Bhakti's question about AK and Nor Yekith's clarification, please notice that AK's followers are marked in italic...

3) Even though one may receive events which strengthen the faith, the number of followers gained or lost each turn does not solely depend on that factor. Every turn, a certain number of people may spontaneously (i.e. for no discernable reason) forsake the deity or join its flock (or they could die of old age, accidents, and so on). In some cases, these are consistent numbers; so, if your followers didn't really increase that much in one turn, it likely means that a lot spontaneously left your worship, and that loss was covered by new gains, which is why the net result seems to be very small.

4) If you haven't figured it out yet, the threshold for DR 6 is 36.000 worshipers :P

:::nodding:::

Per an earlier conversation I had with you AllFather, this is regardless of strength of the primary race, correct? Earlier this week, an older deity than I tried to tell me it would take less of my dragons to grow in strength than for a deity whose primary race was say, humans. I tried to explain that was not the case, per what I understood from you.

So...even with all of Raucous' proselytizing, unless one of the other races I requested he proselytize to decides to worship me in droves and is much more numerous in number than dragons, I suspect my growth to be very slow...

Not necessarily very slow, growth increases somewhat the more followers you have, barring unforeseen circumstances. But yes, the power of the followers doesn't affect divine ranks; the strength of their FAITH, on the other hand, does. The "Number of Followers" partly reflects not just how many followers you have, but also how strong is their faith in you.

Death is the threshold through which life eternal is reached.
Saving Eiran is the main reason for existing.
Embrace Death as the best means towards this goal.

Given the current situation and the possible tensions that might result from it, I feel it is important to reiterate something, lest someone get too caught up in the situation:

Pantheon is a game.

However addictive or funny the game might be, it's still just a game. A roleplaying game, sure, but still a game. Players here interpret their characters, but in instance should enmity or resentment between characters cross over to poison the relationships between players. If two gods go to war, bent on each other's utter annihilation and trading insults wildly, I expect both players to understand and accept that the hatred between the gods is only a character thing: it shouldn't condition the friendship between two players. It may be difficult to separate sometimes, but it is extremely important that everyone does it.

In fact, if it ever turns out that the Pantheon game leads to the severing or "cooling down" of friendships, if it ever looks like any in-game strain is being carried over in the real world, I promise I'll shut Pantheon down rather than allow friendships to be tarnished by it.

Overall, Xar, I think everyone is pretty good about stuff like that.

I know that AK and I giggle about the stuff we say to each other on the game thread.
