I can't beleive I allowed myself to be talked in to watching this by my daughter (the 19 year old one....)
Terrible. It had one good scene (where Gerard had Ricky in an armlock and discussing crepes), the rest was utter crap.
There were some interesting comedic ideas that were just done awful!

Yup. I utterly fail to understand why people liked this movie. It had a couple of good laughs, but overall it stunk.

Strange, I'd heard this was very funny. Glad i didnt waste my time.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
I thought it was mildly funny, but then I love Will Ferrel (come on, who can't use a little more cowbell in their life?). I think Anchor Man is his best, and one of the top 10 funniest movies ever.
Anchorman had it's moments, but I thought it was overrated. Ferrell is a great supporting actor, but I have yet to see him carry a film.
I do give the guy credit for being absolutely fearless in his comedy.

But he's good in small parts. His part in The Ladies Man" is hysterical.

Talladega Nights was pretty boring. I agree, Will Ferrell isn't a strong leading man, although Stranger than Fiction was pretty good. I might've cried if he really did...well, you know!

I agree with the idea that he is a better secondary character guy. His role in Zoolander was hilarious! His best movie role ... Cow-bell guy is his best TV role....
