Though I am loath to allow Asta this reprieve, I have agreed to it as the best course of action at this time. If I am confirmed that his followers have ceased their actions and withdrawn by the end of the season, I will not pursue the issue further.

It leaves no more to be desired than you willingness to commit destruction. What right have you to claim the only answer to such issues is destruction? What if I have only been making vain threats or promises? Given that my actions have been largely peaceful towards you, I doubt you have the basis to make such claims.

Hedra Iren,

Because Nor Yekith has repeatedly and directly threatened Bhakti, I would think that is enough proof that the message sent to Bhakti regarding Zephyr is legitimate. It is what is called 'circumstantial evidence.'

This is not an idle threat.

Rather, the nature of this message is blackmail which is a completely different transgression.

Not once has Nor Yekith denied writing it and in fact claims it just to be threats.

Reasonable doubt has not yet been established. From what I have heard from Nor Yekith's own mouth, reasonable doubt has not been established. It is his very nature to desire the destruction of his polar opposite, Bhakti.

How convenient.

Oh, I am sorry. Forgive me for being antagonistic. I'm a rather peaceful god. :lol: I made some naughty statements that were indeed just threats. I have learned my lesson now. :twisted:

I am looking for reasonable doubt, not apologies.

You have motive. A very strong motive.

You are suspect.

Well said. :lol:

I hear Bhakti's 'got wood', and that he boasts about having a big branch. Though when my Houka entered his lands they saw it was just a twig on a diseased tree. :lol:

I hear your request, Lord of the Seas. Though Nor Yekith's purposes for Eiran are clear, however, the mutagens which polluted the seas might have been intended as a means of waste disposal without the intentions of a covert attack. This does not make the destruction any less loathsome, but it might be solved with less than open war.

Therefore, here are the terms of Law:

1) That Nor Yekith swears an Oath to the AllFather that the mutagens he poured into the oceans were not meant as an attack of any sort upon the realm or interests of any other god;

2) That Nor Yekith offers an apology to Undine, along with assurance this will not happen again;

3) That the pouring of mutagens into the sea, be it through direct or indirect means - including the pouring of mutagens in rivers and lakes which later empty into the sea - cease immediately and verifiably, and does not resume afterwards;

4) That reparations be offered by Nor Yekith to Undine, according to terms the two gods will mutually discuss, under the supervision of the God of Justice and the Goddess of Law, and that both Nor Yekith and Undine agree upon.

Should all these terms be met by the onset of Spring, the incident will be over. Should any of these terms not be met, or be rescinded afterwards, Nor Yekith will immediately be found in violation of Law, and will face the full brunt of Justice and Law's wrath.

I am more than willing to swear an oath on these clauses. Give me a day to think on them and I should invoke the oath. However, I have already sworn the oath once (the Allfather will confirm this) this season; given that it was decided the oath must not be invoked so often, I doubt it is possible to swear it again so soon.

But I would love to agree with the terms and conditions.

Argothoth, what is this abomination? Are you so hungry for power that you would cast aside old friendships?

After their tombs and bodies have been repeatedly desecrated, I removed the bodies of Rilu and Trolin, the prophets of my ascension, to a secret chamber beneath Avenberry where they might be left in peace. Yet they were not immune to your madness and they have risen from death as soulless monstrosities to join the seething mass of undeath that plagues our world.

Whilst I thank the All-Father that Trolin's soul remains esconced within the strands of the Weave and Rilu's soul has been consumed beyond redemption, still the false reanimation of their earthly bodies is painful to me, and even more terrible is your willingness to so claim the remains of those who wre my prophets. How else am I to interpret this other than as an act of agression?

Just curious. Why is it that no one is invoking the law of over Argothoth's summoning of the world's dead? Everyone appears to be so concerned with me, yet no one has threatened war over it. Now, having said that, I will stand beside Argothoth if he is attacked.

Edit: I spoke too soon. It appears Norn is angry.

Other than your promise to kill Zephyr, who spoke of destruction?

As for your "largely peaceful" actions toward me, you will only make yourself look more stupid than you already look if you pretend for an instant that you would have gracefully accepted me, or any other deity, kidnapping any of your followers' children; spreading a plague (And before you start whining, I am not saying you created the plague. Nor have I ever said you created it. You "only" spread it.) to my lands; let some sort of Love-spores escape my lands and infect followers in your lands; or killing a follower of yours so I could use its skin as parchment to write you a message. To say, "Well, I could have done much worse to you!" would only show the Pantheon how truly incapable you are of understanding basic ideas. Not harming another is not the same as doing that other a favor. To see what it is to not be someone's enemy, look to me. I have never acted against any other deity.

Regarding Argothoth, it is clear that he is your pawn, and that he will act as your Malice dictates. The only way to accomplish anything with him is through you. And as you will be killing my son when I do not sacrifice myself to you, I am sure nothing will be accomplished in that direction.
I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.

I am furious! What right does Argothoth have to the abject and choiceless worship of all Eiran's dead? What right did he have to the bodies of my long dead friends, or to the bodies of my slain prophets?

I understand the desire for power, but such disregard for others is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

As for your loyalty to Argothoth, I am not surprised. You are certainly free to do as you wish.

A final word - I understand that many of my fellow deities delight in foolishness, but the constant childish barbs being traded demeans us all.
